Abstract

In this paper we consider ways to overcome the continuity heuristics and other false heuristics in research of complex systems in an integrative study of discrete mathematics and information modeling . Describes examples of problem solving using discrete-event computer simulations . Comparing discrete-event models with continuous models shows inadequacy in many recent cases.
