STATE LEGAL REGULATION OF FOREIGN TRADE AT ORENBURG IN THE XVIII CENTURY

  • Vladimir Nikolaevich Shkunov

Abstract

The foundation of Orenburg marked the opening of a new channel in Russian foreign trade. The  promotion of domestic merchant capital in the neighboring countries of the East met the urgent needs of the Russian economy. Legislation acts at the time were aimed to develop the trade at the Orenburg area. At the same time  the absence of diplomatic relations between Russia and the Central Asian states affected the development of foreign trade.
