Abstract

The influence of high pressure torsion (HPT) on microstructure and mechanical properties of low-carbon steel Fe-Mo-V-Nb-C was studied. It is shown that HPT leads to formation of ultrafine-grained structure in steel investigated with a size of structural elements ~ 100÷120 nm and high values of microhardness ~ 6 GPa.
